I am a proud Native American from Maine. I moved to the Celo community in Yancey County in 1987. I grew up off the grid, with no electricity or running water. We would build our own personal homes from repurposed lumber from old buildings that were about to be torn down.
I have lived in the Asheville area since 1998. I am married and have two children.
